The Crazy Desert Trail Race is organized and hosted by the San Angelo Road Lizards running club.
The San Angelo Road Lizards is a completely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, started in 1982, with the purpose of creating running events and promoting running as a means of fitness in the San Angelo area.
We host a variety of free and low-cost races and group runs throughout the year in and near San Angelo, some having up to 500 registered runners.
Our members love running, love hosting races, and love doing everything we can to make our events as much fun as possible.
